We are pleased to invite SHAPE Ecosystem partners to a dedicated three-part training series on EU funding opportunities, delivered in collaboration with Business Finland. The training is designed to learn participants about the process to identify relevant funding opportunities, develop competitive project concepts, and understand how to build strong international consortia for future EU projects.

Training Format: Three sessions including presentations, discussions and workshops, 2 hours each at 9-11 on the following dates: 7.10, 14.10 and 21.10
Program Overview
Session 1: Mapping Opportunities 7.10 at 9-11 (online)
Explore the EU funding landscape and identify the most relevant funding opportunities and call topics for the SHAPE ecosystem. Participants will begin assessing potential project directions and funding matches.
Session 2: Designing a Competitive EU Project – From Idea to Concept 14.10 at 9-11 (online/hybrid)
Learn how to transform promising ideas into structured project concepts, understand evaluation criteria, and align project ambitions with specific funding calls.
Session 3: From Concept to Action – Consortium Building & Next Steps 21.10 at 9-11 (online/hybrid)
Understand what evaluators look for in successful consortia, learn about project governance and partner roles, and discuss concrete next steps for future EU project collaboration.
